I guess you are probably surprised to hear from me again. I know I probably should've kept you guys updated, but real life got in the way. But now I'm back with an exciting new feature for the group. In my other group , I have been experimenting with posting polls from Strawpoll since doing polls the old fashioned way for groups on DA would require money which I do not have, and since that seems to be successful I will be doing it for this group as well.
Now the subject for this poll took some thought before I had a eureka moment a few weeks ago. Now the question is Should DC Comics give a co-creator credit to Elizabeth Holloway Marston & Olivie Bryne for their role in the creation of Wonder Woman? Now the basis for this idea is threefold:
1. Seeing as how the comic creator industry is still a field primally occupied by men, DC doing this to their third most popular superhero may not solve the problem immediately, but it should give it a boost in that direction.
2. They already did it for Bill Finger after decades and there is evidence that both women did serve a substantial role in the creation. So much so that Elizabeth wanted to take over writing duties after her husband but was rejected.
3. Much like the first one, it would serve as some good inspiration for future female creators in the field.
So here is the poll, I hope you all will like it and I hope I can think up of more.
