I guess you are probably surprised to hear from me again. I know I probably should've kept you guys updated, but real life got in the way. But now I'm back with an exciting new feature for the group. In my other group :icondisneytffans: , I have been experimenting with posting polls from Strawpoll since doing polls the old fashioned way for groups on DA would require money which I do not have, and since that seems to be successful I will be doing it for this group as well.

Now the subject for this poll took some thought before I had a eureka moment a few weeks ago. Now the question is Should DC Comics give a co-creator credit to Elizabeth Holloway Marston & Olivie Bryne for their role in the creation of Wonder Woman? Now the basis for this idea is threefold:

1. Seeing as how the comic creator industry is still a field primally occupied by men, DC doing this to their third most popular superhero may not solve the problem immediately, but it should give it a boost in that direction.
2. They already did it for Bill Finger after decades and there is evidence that both women did serve a substantial role in the creation. So much so that Elizabeth wanted to take over writing duties after her husband but was rejected.
3. Much like the first one, it would serve as some good inspiration for future female creators in the field.

So here is the poll, I hope you all will like it and I hope I can think up of more.

Hello everyone, I'm here to announce that the contest is over and I have picked the winners. This was a fun contest (Even if only there were only two submissions) and I hope the success of this contest will lead to bigger and better contests in the future. But now let's meet our winners.

The 1st prize will be going to :iconvederick: for his submission The Super-Friends Reboot.

The Super-Friends (Reboot) by Vederick

The 2nd prize will be going to :icon13foxywolf666: for her submission A New Spin On Atlantis

Now seeing as there were only two submissions, I am not going to giving out the 3rd prize. I will contact the winners shortly with the details of their prizes. I hope everyone enjoyed this contest, because after a cooling off period, I'll might do another one.

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Multiverse and to all the Lanterns in space. It gives me great pleasure in announcing our first contest. Now the theme of the contest is as follows. You have just been in charge of rebooting a franchise in the DC mythos. These include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, Captain Marvel, Metal Men, The Question, Uncle Sam, etc and all related characters. You would be following in the footsteps of such greats as John Byrne, James Robertson, Jerry Ordway, George Pérez, and many more. Now before we go over the prizes we have to lay down some rules.

#1. Be creative when choosing a franchise. That means don't automatically pick Batman or else this will just be boring. If you want, you could try picking a franchise you know absolutely about. The more obscure the better.
#2. You can present your vision in any medium you want, although some form of visual art must be presented alongside. This is group that honors a visual medium after all.
#3. You can collaborate with other participants so long as you be nice and give credit where credit is due. I don't want to have to call the Finger Awards on anyone.
#4. The contest will last for seven weeks and will end on February 12. This should give you plenty of time to work.
#5. Give me 110% on your work and more importantly, Have fun!

Now here are the prizes.

The 1st Prize will be:

1. A folder for your reimaging in the gallery.
2. $100 in either cash or points.
3. A one on one conversation with me about comics in the notes.

The 2nd Prize will be:

1. Being the first deviation(s) in order in the runner-up gallery.
2. $50 in either cash or points.
3. A congratulatory note from me.

The 3rd Prize will be:

1. Being the second deviation(s) in order in the runner-up gallery.
2. $25 in either cash or points.
3. A congratulatory note from me.

The runners-up deviations will be placed in a folder in the gallery where everyone can see them.

If you have any questions, you can leave a comment or contact me in the notes. Until then, Good Night and Good Luck.

Well that's about it. The guidebook I think did it's job of answering questions, but it also raises so many others. But either way, I highly recommend picking it up and spread the word.
Sorry it took so long to write an update, the job market has not been kind to me lately. But I'm here now and since I can't make this into a super group, I'll just have to ask you a question here instead. If you notice, I've been leaving off a lot of DC alternate worlds in the Misc folder instead of giving them their own folders. This is mostly due to a combination of personal reason and what you guys would think. Well now I'm going to give you guys the choice whether or not to make folders for these worlds Your choices are as followed:

The Millerverse: Based on the works by formerly good comics writer Frank Miller. Expect to see a lot of sexism, Islamophobia, and him trying to be deep and noir.
The Burton-Schumakerverse: Based on the original Batman film series (Including Batman 3 and Batman: Triumphant)
The Nolonverse: Based on The Dark Knight Triolgy by Christopher Nolan (Thanks for having a part in DC's destruction)
Classic TV-verse: A combination of classic DC Superhero shows made before the 21st Century. (If you need help visualizing this, here is an example: c1.staticflickr.com/5/4036/458… )
Arkhamverse: Based on the Arkham game series by Rocksteady. (Anyone got an extra $500 so I can buy an Xbox One to play Arkham Knight with?)
Hostessverse: Based on those ridiculous ads from the Bronze Age where every problem could be solved with a delicious Hostess product!
Victorian/Steampunk Universe: Based on my Earth-18 concept which every Elseworlds story that took place in the Victorian era is.
Injusticeverse: Based on the alternate Regime world in Injustice: God's Among Us.(DLC packs for all!)
Beware the Lantern Universe: A universe based on the both great and cancelled shows Green Lantern: The Animated Series & Beware the Batman. (I'm I the only one who has thought of a crossover?)
Donnerverse: Based on the original Superman film series which may or may not also include Superman Returns. (Remember when Superman didn't kill people? Good times)

And that should keep you guys busy. So Remember to vote if you see this in your messages folder!
